Meet Truffle, the black female rabbit. Meet Truffle, a black female rabbit. When she first arrived she was shy and unsure how to interact with volunteers. She has grown into a confident rabbit who now knows that snuggling is the best! She does like to show off her binkies and do a figure eight around your feet. You mightfeel dizzy watching her. Truffle is looking for a home where she can have lots of space to roam free inside and be a member of her family. Might that be your home? Come in and meet this sweet girl! Truffle is available for preadoption - come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery!Truffle's adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation's Leave No One Behind fund - a fund that draws adopter's eyes towards animals that have been waiting a little bit longer than average for the right adopters to come along and bring them home.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
