Skippy – Smart, Athletic, and Full of Puppy Energy Skippy is a 10-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix weighing 62 pounds with an enthusiastic personality and a love for learning. Active and adventurous: Skippy may pull moderately on leash with puppy excitement and enjoys sniffing and exploring his surroundings. Bright and eager to learn: Although he can be exuberant and bouncy when excited, Skippy is easily redirected with treats. He enthusiastically practices “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and loves showing off his athleticism by tackling fun barkour exercises on outdoor furniture. Playful youngster: He sometimes enjoys running around the yard with toys. He’s highly food motivated, though he’s still learning polite treat manners. Dog social: Skippy enjoys games of chase with other dogs in doggie playgroup and would do well with appropriately matched canine companions or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home. Skippy is looking for an active home that will embrace his playful spirit and continue helping this smart young dog grow into a wonderful companion.
