WATCH MY VIDEO...That face!! Scully may weigh 60 pounds, but someone forgot to tell him he’s not a lap dog. At just 1 year old, Scully is truly a big baby who wants nothing more than to be close to you. He will happily climb right into your lap, lean his whole body against you for affection and cover you in kisses. Our volunteers say he sticks by your side like glue, loves belly rubs, knows how to sit, enjoys treats and has plenty of zoomies to keep you laughing. Scully is a healthy, happy, high-energy young dog who would love an active family. He is still working on his manners and has been known to jump like a kangaroo when he gets excited, so older kids would probably be the best fit. He may also prefer to be the only dog in the home, if you have another dog we always encourage a dog meet at the shelter. A little training, patience and a harness for walks will go a long way with this sweet boy. Best of all, Scully’s adoption fee has been covered, and he will go home with a special basket donated in memory of a beloved dad for his birthday. Sometimes dogs can help heal our hearts, as long as we are ready for the time, love and responsibility that comes with caring for them.
