Rex is 4 yrs old and new to our rescue. Did you know that dogs can smile? Rex is a gentle giant that always seems to have a grin on his face. He is a happy boy with a constantly wagging tail who wants nothing more than to please his people and be loved. Rex gets very excited when meeting new people and wants attention. His foster family is putting that enthusiasm to good use by teaching him commands. He already knows “sit,” “no” and “wait,” and he’s motivated to learn more, especially when treats are involved. Rex likes to be near his foster family, following his foster mom around and always keeping her in sight.    Rex is also a good watchdog. He’ll explore the outdoors and look around the yard for anything out of the ordinary before he comes back inside. He gets along great with the family dogs, although he doesn't really play with them yet and seems to prefer the company of humans. As for the family cat, Rex just smells it and walks away. Rex has settled nicely into his new surroundings, showing no anxiety or problematic behaviors. He’s a beautiful tricolored sweetie with a happy disposition and a big smile. Now he’s just looking for his forever home and someone who wants a great companion!
