Description

Meet Rex, he was rescued from a County Shelter just in time by Pawfect match. It was shared that Rex is a shy, sweet boy who truly shines once he feels safe. During his time in foster with the shelter, he proved he was house trained, walked well on leash, and formed a strong bond with his person. He is now safe and back in foster with Pawfect Match.  He is looking for a forever family to help him continue building confidence and training in a stable environment.  Pupdate from his current foster: Rex is cautious in new environments and meeting new people but so sweet to whoever he trusts.  His foster would describe him as loyal. He has not shown any aggression towards any other animals, is fine with other dogs approaching him to say hi.  He has not been around cats in his current foster home.  He may seek out a squirrel to chase from time to time but all in fun. He does not like loud noises but honestly who does?! Rex needs an adopter who is understanding and patient.  ** The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
