Meet Redford, the ultimate 45-pound bundle of joy who is ready to steal your heart! At three years old, this handsome Labrador and Shepherd mix is the absolute perfect size for any adventure, and he has a personality that is even bigger than his gorgeous smile.    Redford is a true lover through and through, greeting the world with a contagious happiness and a signature look featuring one ear up and one ear down. We refer to it as his "party ear".     He is incredibly social and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a fantastic choice for families who already have a furry companion or love visiting the local dog park. He is playful with other dogs, but takes cues well from those who don't want to play.    This fun-loving guy loves playing chase outside and won't turn down a game of tug-of-war.    Once his energy is spent and it is time to relax, Redford transforms into a cuddle king. He likes to make sure you're fully aware that he's interested in snuggles and pets by pressing his entire body against you. He does look for reassurance at times and asks for hugs by jumping up. If you redirect him and find a way to give him pets or sit down for cuddles he does a great job. He does this to people he loves regardless of size, so a house with older kids or ones steady on their feet that won't get scared by this action may be best.    Redford is a huge fan of belly rubs and bottom scratches! Treats are also very neat. Toys? Also yes.    You will rarely catch this sweet pup without a massive grin on his face, as he just naturally radiates positivity and gratitude.   In addition to being a joyful companion, Redford is a stellar student who is already well-mannered and eager to please. He is completely house-broken, comfortably kennel-trained, and already knows how to respond beautifully to the "sit" and "stay" commands. He would prefer to sleep in bed with humans, but settles quickly when a kennel is the requirement.    Redford truly offers the best of both worlds: the playful spirit of a young pup and the polite foundation of an adult dog.
