Otter is a sweet 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs just 11 pounds, and this little guy has so much love to give!  Otter can be a bit timid and shy when he first meets you, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate personality really starts to shine. His foster family says he is so affectionate and absolutely loves giving kisses!  Otter does really well with kiddos, but he would do best with children who understand how to be gentle, calm, and respectful of his boundaries. A quieter home where he can take his time building confidence would likely be the perfect environment for him. He also did well meeting his foster family's Cocker and seemed to enjoy having a canine friend around.  Otter is the kind of little guy who may need some patience and a gentle approach at first, but once he trusts you, you'll discover a sweet, loving companion who is more than ready to fill your days with affection and kisses. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
