Meet Nala ("Betty" to her foster family)!  Betty is a one-year-old, 45-pound Boxer mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, she's affectionate, loyal, and always ready for the next adventure. She loves other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion. Her favorite outings include the dog park, walks through the farmers market, car rides, and any chance to explore the world with her people. She also loves stretching out in the sunshine. Betty is smart, food motivated, and still polishing her manners. She's looking for an active family who will continue her training with patience and positive reinforcement. She's kitty approved... although she'd probably tell you she's still not quite sure what to make of those strange little creatures.  Betty has come a long way since arriving from a rural shelter. Now she's ready to find the forever family who will love her playful spirit as much as her foster family does.
