Ms. Lady the Great Pyrenees

Meet Ms. Lady! We believe this sweet girl to be a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. She’s an endearing combination of silly and regal! Ms. Lady (never leave off the Ms.) is estimated to be around 6 years old and weighs about 75lbs, she’s a fully vetted, healthy and happy girl. She came into a Texas shelter with another Pyrenees mix (possibly her brother) - both were owner surrendered because the owners were letting them run loose and they did not want to pay the fine. The brother went to a local Austin rescue and Lady is now with NorthStar. Ms. Lady is crate trained, house broken and walks beautifully on a leash even though in her Texas foster home she was rarely leashed because during her time there she was able to roam a farm with about 30 other dogs. She is very low maintenance, low to medium energy, and is getting settled into her New Jersey foster home now. In NJ Ms. Lady is getting used to a smaller backyard and the high energy, in your face play style of her foster brother. She gets along well with him on walks and both are getting to know each other’s play styles in the yard too. She can be a little shy with meeting new humans at first but once she knows you are just there to give her love and attention she warms up quickly and welcomes the attention and love. She currently sleeps through the night in her crate and has even gone to the “office” with her foster mom to work from home, she’s a quiet and respectful coworker who never needs to be muted on Zoom calls.
