Description

Mora is wonderfully low-key at home and calmly welcomes guests, is sweet as can be with just enough protective instinct to make you feel like you’ve adopted your very own fluffy security system. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was timid and unsure, but thanks to patience and TLC, she’s blossomed into a good-natured, friendly, and downright lovable girl. She absolutely loves walks and is fantastic on a leash, strolling down the sidewalk like she’s hosting her own nature documentary. She interacts well with other dogs and plays nicely at the dog park, but could easily live her best life as an only dog enjoying all the belly rubs. Mora is very food motivated, and turns into a highly focused scholar at the first sign of a treat, ready to “study” whatever you want as long as the tuition is edible. She does prefer new humans to introduce themselves politely and slowly—strangers will initially get a cautious side-eye, but give her a moment and she'll quickly unveil her snuggly, affectionate side. She has been around respectful children and been calm and sweet, so a home with visiting older children could be a good fit. Mora is beautiful inside and out, with the best smile in the neighborhood, a gorgeous hidden treasure who’s finally ready to be found.  ** Tune in to our Facebook page (Great Pyrenees Rescue Society - GPRS) every Sunday at 3pm CT to see our dogs LIVE!  You can also find previous episodes on our YouTube channel (@gprspyrs).
