    Hi, I’m Mickey! I came to the rescue after running out of time at an overcrowded shelter, and while my rescue family takes amazing care of me, I’m so ready for a place to call my own. I hold the title of Longest Resident, which just means I’ve been saving up years' worth of love, tail wags, and snuggles just for you! Don't let my size fool you—I am a 100% certified lap dog. If you sit down on the couch, I’ll be right there trying to fit my whole self into your lap for cuddles. My Favorite Things: The Great Backyard Snack Hunt: I have a world-class nose! Toss some treats into the grass, and I promise I’ll track down every single one. Yard Time: I love running around, playing, and soaking up the sunshine. Tough Toys: Soft plushies tend to... well, mysteriously explode and leave stuffing everywhere when I play with them. Tough rubber and heavy-duty chew toys are definitely my jam! Snuggle Time: Did I mention I love to cuddle? Because I really, really do. My Ideal Forever Home: I am fully housebroken and crate-trained, making me an easy addition to a routine! Because I like a calm, predictable environment, here is what my dream home looks like:  Dog Siblings: I’ve made some great medium and large doggy friends at the rescue! I’m open to having a dog brother or sister, but we’ll need to do a mandatory meet-and-greet first to make sure our personalities click.  No Small Pets or Kids: I’m not a fit for homes with small/toy dogs, cats, or young children.
