Description

This dog has chronic regurgitation and is suspected to have megaesophagus, a condition that requires lifelong management. Care typically includes feeding canned food in an elevated position, keeping the dog upright for 20 minutes after meals, and feeding 3–4 small meals per day to reduce the risk of aspiration pneumonia.
