Meet our little rescue dog.   After talking to the Cat House neighbors it appears he was dumped. Staff immediately scooped him up and whisked him away to the vets.  Once at the vets, we learned someone used him as target practice.  We couldn't believe someone would do this to this gentle kind dog.  Regardless of the abuse he's encountered, he's a really sweet dog.  He's about 20-25 pounds and fairly young. Little Black Dog hangs out all day with about 30 cats, a small resident dog, and also visits with the senior dog Buster.  He's learning how to walk on a harness leash and happy to report he's making great progress.  His favorite pass time is playing fetch with his favorite squeaky toy.  We hope someone with patience and a big heart can give him a loving forever home.
