Laquita is a gentle girl who likes to take her time getting to know the world—and the people in it. She may be a little shy when you first meet, but with patience and a chance to settle in, she begins to show more of herself. From our volunteer observations, Laquita enjoys exploring at her own pace and seems comfortable sharing space with other dogs while mostly doing her own thing.She’s looking for a calm, patient home where she won’t be rushed and can continue building confidence one day at a time.Give Laquita a little time to feel safe, and you may just get to watch something pretty special unfold.
