Huck – Affectionate, Playful, and People-Oriented Huck is a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 45 pounds. He’s a happy, energetic boy who loves attention and quickly focuses on his people. People-focused and affectionate: Huck loves attention from his handler and happily hops up to say hello. Once he gets pets, he settles nicely and especially enjoys neck scratches, looking up at you with a sweet expression. Playful and fun: He enjoys running around and showing off his zoomies, making him a great companion for an active household. Smart and treat motivated: Huck knows “sit” and is eager to work for treats. He’s continuing to learn polite leash manners and may be bouncy when excited. Dog social: Huck showed interest in greeting other dogs but was able to move along with some encouragement. He also plays gently with other dogs in doggie playgroup. Huck would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with appropriate dog friends.
