This dog is available to meet by appointment only. Gretchen is a sweet, sensitive pup looking for a patient and understanding home where she can take her time learning that the world is a safe place. This 2-year-old terrier mix came to us from a challenging situation and is still building confidence around people. Gretchen would do best with an adopter who has experience helping shy or under-socialized dogs and understands that trust takes time. With patience, consistency, and plenty of gentle encouragement, Gretchen has the opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion. She is looking for someone who will celebrate her small steps and give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable.
