Imagine sitting by a cozy campfire and basking in the glow. There's a loving companion at your feet...ME! I'm Ember, and that could be YOUR life if you adopt me! I'll admit it, though, while I am an older gal and do enjoy a good snooze, I'm also up for adventure and will gladly go on a hike with ya. You should know that I have an arch nemesis...squirrels....but they are always the ones who start it, I SWEAR. I would do best in a home without small critters, though, and I prefer slow, careful introductions to other pups, or I could thrive as the queen bee and only pet in your life. I've been respectful of the children I've met, and my previous foster family reported I catch onto new routines quickly and got housebreaking down in no time. I've been working on crate training and feeling comfy when I'm on my own, but I am an eager student and just want to make you proud. My golden years are upon me, and I've been without a home for quite some time, so I would be MOST thankful for a kind, patient owner who will give me time to settle in and love me for the rest of my days.
