Meet Daphne! A one-year-old, 40-pound Black Lab mix with all the sweetness in a slightly more chill, easygoing package. She’s gentle, quiet, house trained, vaccinated, spayed, and officially accepting applications for her forever couch. ️ Curious and eager to learn, she is at a wonderful age for training, bonding, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Daphne loves having space to explore at her own pace. Give her a safe place to run, sniff, discover, and play, and she is in her element. A home with regular outdoor adventures would make her very happy. She also has a talent every dog owner can appreciate: she knows how to entertain herself. Give Daphne a toy—especially one with a treat tucked inside—and she’ll gladly get to work figuring it out. A few things to know: Daphne occasionally has opinions about what’s being served for dinner ️, and she’s still learning that riding in the car isn’t something to worry about. One important note: Daphne does not do well with dogs smaller than she is. Her adopter will need to keep that in mind when deciding whether she’s the right fit for their household and lifestyle. Daphne is being fostered in the Tampa area.
