Hi! My name is Danby, or also known as "Bubby"! I am a handsome 3 year old gentle velcro boxer looking for my own family! I was originally found as a stray in Dallas, but have since made my way to the rescue, was in a foster home, and now at the transition kennel. I was in a foster home for 7 months and once I learned I was safe, my true personality came shining through! I want to be where the people are! If I am eating I will often stop just to make sure the humans are nearby. I am not clingy, I just find comfort knowing my person is close. I am not aware of my size and still think I'm a small lap dog! I am a gentle goofball who will happily try to squeeze into spaces meant for much smaller dogs. I am incredibly smart, full of personality, love going for car rides, going for rides on the 4 wheeler, watching tractors on the ranch, hunting lizards, and stretching my legs! When I get excited I am incredibly fast! When staying on the ranch I thought chasing cows was the greatest game ever, so I would do best with someone who understands that I don't do well with livestock without proper training and supervision. I am happy almost anywhere as long as I am with my people whether that be chilling at home or tagging along for daily errands! Behind my big goofy boxer face is a dog with an even bigger heart who just wants to belong to someone.
