Description

Once you meet Carolina, it is hard not to fall in love. This beautiful, sweet-natured girl has a playful personality and so much love to give. She adores belly rubs, cozy cuddles, and spending time with her people. Carolina is happy, fun-loving energy that shines during playtime, but she is just as content curling up beside you for affection and snuggles. Gentle, loving, and full of charm, she is always ready to brighten the day for anyone with her wagging tail and loyal companionship. This sweet 4-year-old Terrier mix has a lovely short tan coat and gentle brown eyes that reflect her sweet nature. At 32 pounds, she is fully grown perfect medium size. She does well with children and other dogs but will need structure and guidance when in the company of other dogs as she can be particular with her choice of canine companions. Carolina is not willing to entertain a feline relationship, so she will need a cat free home. Her skills, including crate training are in progress. Carolina is a great dog but will need a confident and dog savvy owner that can address her needs as she becomes stressed and anxious on the leash and on car rides. Although smaller in stature, Carolina needs an open area of space for her to explore and feel comfortable so a house setting rather than apartment/condo life would be more suitable to her needs. She will thrive with patience, consistency, guidance, and love from her forever family. She can reap the rewards of having completed her house training. Although Caroline is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. If you are searching for a sweet pup who will fill your days with love and companionship, Carolina may be the one for you.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Carolina is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
