BOWIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Come meet Bowie and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (8/23) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!     Name:    Bowie         Best Guess for Breed:    Retriever/terrier mix     Best Guess for Age:   1.5 years as of April 2026        SEX:    male   Approximate Weight: 35lbs as of August 16, 2026   Gets Along With:      Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! He lives with another dog in his foster home and is doing very well!   Currently Living at:    DC area foster home.Watch this video of Bowie taking a city walk with his friend Maggie! This cutie is looking for his own humans to trot alongside on those sniffy walks and adventures to burn all that awesome young-dog energy. Making new pup pals along and having plenty of opportunity to run and play is on his wish list along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.  What My Foster Says About Me: Bowie is a loveable goofball full of life and a happy guy who loves cuddling up close. He loves playing with other dogs and greeting every human. Very good in his crate and listens well. He is a full on water dog, loves the kiddie pool and the river and lake! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
