Description
Balder arrived as a stray. Can you imagine a dog this beautiful and unusual not being claimed by a family! Whew! We are in disbelief! Balder has some issues with his gait, and walks as though he may have had some trauma to his rear end (or at least his left rear leg) at some point in the past. Thanks to one of our volunteers, he has had a chance to go on some adventure outings already and has discovered his love for water! We got a picture of him frolicking in the creek on his host's property last night! He is great with other dogs, reading their social cues well, and accepting corrections for inappropriate behavior without retaliation. While he may not have had the best care by his previous family (who remain unknown), he was loved! What else can we tell you?
