Meet Alder, a sweet 4-month-old Shepherd mix with an incredible story of survival. Alder and her nine littermates were discovered underneath a school building in Puerto Rico, struggling to survive on their own. Our rescue team was able to get all ten puppies to safety and eventually bring them to New Jersey, where Alder is now ready for the best part of her journey: finding a family of her own. Alder is the perfect combination of affectionate and adventurous. She loves exploring new places and discovering new things, but she's just as happy curling up beside you when it's time to relax. She has a gentle, loving personality and a curious spirit that makes her an absolute joy to be around. Alder is dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and ready to grow up with a family who will love her for the rest of her life. She started her life underneath a building.
