Double the Love: Meet Soy & Wasabi! Formerly known as Ma-Ma and Be-Be by the kind woman who looked after them, Soy and Wasabi have spent their lives side by side. They were well-loved community cats who enjoyed the outdoor life, but the area they called home became far too dangerous because of heavy traffic. Wanting to give them the chance at a safer future, their caregiver made the difficult decision to bring them to the shelter in hopes of finding them a forever home together. And together is the key word. These two are the definition of a bonded pair. They eat together, nap together, explore together, and are almost always found snuggled up side by side. Wherever one goes, the other isn't far behind. Their friendship has carried them through every stage of life, and we can't imagine separating them now. Like many cats with outdoor adventures behind them, each has a little story to tell. Wasabi is recovering from an old leg injury she likely sustained while living outside. She's healing well and continues to improve every day. Soy has one eye that's a little smaller than the other, giving her an extra touch of character. It doesn't bother her one bit, and we think she wears it beautifullyâit simply makes her uniquely Soy. Both girls have discovered some of the finer things in indoor life, especially treats and catnip! Winning them over is as easy as opening a bag of goodies and letting them settle in at their own pace. If you've ever considered adopting two cats, these girls make the decision easy. They already have a built-in best friend, providing each other with comfort, confidence, and companionship. Plus, because they're bonded, one adoption fee is waivedâyou'll bring home two wonderful cats for the price of one! Soy and Wasabi have already found their forever friend in each other. Now they're hoping to find the forever family who will love them both.
