Description

Meet Raine, the gorgeous medium haired “torbie” (tabby x tortie). Raine arrived to the Shelter after a good Samaritan had been feeding them but unable to care for them long term. Raine had been observed interacting with other felines and may enjoy a kitty companion in her next home. She does have experience being outdoors so an indoor-outdoor home may be appropriate after an appropriate period of acclimation to her new environment and people (at least 30 days). She may be just as happy being an indoor kitty moving forward. Raine is a little shy and may need a patient, cat-savvy adopter who will let her acclimate at her own pace. Could that be you? Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
