Meet Platinum!Platinum is a sweet, easygoing girl who has quickly settled into her foster home and discovered that one of her favorite things is simply being near her people. She’d be an especially wonderful companion for someone who works from home—she’s perfectly happy stretching out on the floor or couch nearby while you go about your day.Platinum is friendly when meeting new people and has done well with adults and school-aged children. She’s affectionate on her terms, sometimes enjoying pets and occasionally hopping into a lap, but she’ll let you know when she’s had enough. She may give a little warning scratch if you pet a spot she doesn’t like, so respecting her boundaries is important.This laid-back girl has a wonderfully quirky, almost dog-like personality. She’ll fetch her favorite catnip mouse, then proudly yowl to announce her accomplishment! She also enjoys chasing a simple plastic ring, exploring every nook and cranny of her foster home, and licking your hands when you offer them. She uses her scratching post, has excellent litter box habits, and has been pretty good about keeping her paws off the counters.Platinum may not be a typical lap cat, but if you’re looking for a mellow, loyal shadow who wants to share your space and keep you company, Platinum could be your girl!
