PANAMA

Description

Panama is a female cat in need of a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide continued medical care, support, and rehabilitation. She has splayed hind limbs consistent with swimmer syndrome, a congenital defect that affects the positioning and function of her legs. Panama will require prolonged physical therapy, along with hobbling, splints, and/or braces to help correct the limb positioning and improve her mobility.Panama would benefit from a stable, supportive environment where she can receive the ongoing physical therapy and veterinary care needed to give her the best chance at improving her mobility and quality of life.Please share Panama's information to help us find a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide the specialized care and commitment she needs.If you are interested in helping Panama, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information so we can call you back.
