Meet handsome lovebug Oreo!   Oreo has braved big life changes recently, but he is now settled into a loving foster home and has really come out of his shell! Oreo can still be a bit shy initially, but once he gets to know you, he LOVES affection. He prefers to be the one to approach for affection, but when he does, he dives in with his whole body. Oreo is a huge fan of head, face, and butt scratches. If he is ignored, he will rub up against you and seek out cheek rubs. Oreo makes a very cute little chirp to communicate with his people, and he is also quite the purrer when he’s really happy. He also shows his happiness with the tip of his tail!   Oreo likes to find a few special spots in the house to hang out. At his foster home, he loves to sit in the windows and he has a small, semi-enclosed area where he feels safe and likes to nap. Oreo is quite the gentleman, using his enclosed litter box perfectly and scratching his provided scratching posts, while ignoring the furniture so far. Oreo has a variety of toys and loves interactive wand toys the most. However, once he gets a few swats in, he's likely to rub his face on it asking for some scratches.    Oreo is a brave, independent gentleman who also craves affection from his people. He would do best as an only cat, but he currently lives with a dog, and they get along quite well. Oreo needs a quiet, patient home where he can continue to come out of his shell to show his affectionate and playful personality. He may do well with calm, gentle children 12 years and older.
