Marshmallow is a stunning solid white beauty with striking blue eyes and an even softer personality to match her name. This sweet girl was found abandoned in a cat colony, but thanks to her rescue, she’s now safe, spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find a loving forever home. Marshmallow is the definition of a lap cat—she absolutely loves to lounge, nap, and soak up all the cozy moments she can get. She’s gentle, affectionate, and enjoys being held and picked up, making her a perfect companion for quiet, relaxing days. While she spends most of her time snoozing or cuddling, Marshmallow has a playful, silly side too! She enjoys batting around her favorite toys and will surprise you with her little bursts of fun. She prefers to be the queen of her space and would do best in a home where she can be the only cat, as she enjoys her independence and doesn’t like being bothered by other felines. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will happily curl up in your lap and keep you company, Marshmallow might be your perfect match. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society. The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
