Hi my name is Gerald,  I was found as a stray fending for myself in Ocala.  Turns out I'm quite friendly and quite the character.  I had a pretty messed up tail when I arrived at Sheltering Hands, but now I'm a wannabe Manx with a little ball of a tail.  I absolutely love it when you rub my cheeks and pet my head.  Here's the catch, when I've had enough I will pull away and let you know (that sometimes means a nip). I tolerate most other cats, but would also be great as the only guy in the house. I need a home who's willing to play with me and make me chase and jump and catch my pretend prey.  I need to release my extra energy every day.   Come meet me and see for yourself.
