Meet Dot, a playful 2-year-old explorer looking for his forever home!True to his name, Dot’s handsome orange and white coat truly makes him stand out in a crowd! He loves being part of whatever his humans are doing — he is part orange after all! Whether you’re on your computer or cooking dinner, Dot is always nearby just in case you need help! He makes it known when he wants pets by providing many head bumps until he is satisfied. Dot is also a curious explorer, always trying to find new places where he can hide and jump out at you! He also enjoys playtime, chasing catnip toys in particular. When he’s had enough for the day, you can find him nature watching through the window, or taking a nap next to his people.Dot is FIV+, so he must go to a home with either no cats or strictly indoor-only cats. Although Dot is FIV+, that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats (indoor-only) in stable social environments. He would love a large space to play fetch and options for hidey-holes to explore! Dot appreciates his space in litter box situations as well, and a large litter box is ideal for this handsome man! Dot currently lives with two adults in a 1-bedroom apartment in Duluth. He would thrive in a home with more than one person, and though he hasn’t met children yet, it’s believed that he would do well with older kids.
