Dolce and Meringue are two adorable 4-month-old kittens looking for their forever home together!Dolce is a charming, calm, and adventurous kitten. Meringue is more thoughtful, contemplative, and likes to watch the action before leaping into the fun. Dolce's courageous spirit complements Meringue's logical reflectiveness, making them truly a delightful pair!These pretty girls are a great yin and yang team with their own interesting quirks. Dolce will stretch out for pets, and actively asks for them. Meringue is more introverted, has the same aquamarine eyes as her mom, and loves pets/massage when given; she is just shy to ask. These kittens’ happy days are filled with wrestling, chasing toys, enjoying meals, taking cozy naps, and playing with their dessert siblings, Brûlée and Tiramisu. Feather wand toys bring out Meringue's impressive acrobatic skills, and she loves chasing glitter balls and jingling toys across the room. One of her newest favorite activities is watching "Cat TV" from the window, where birds, squirrels, delivery trucks, and passing neighbors provide endless entertainment. Like any growing kitten, Meringue has plenty of energy. She loves active play sessions followed by long, cozy naps, usually snuggled up with at least one of her siblings. She believes naps are best when shared.Dolce is a thoughtful girl. She watches her siblings play, and pounces into the fray when they least expect it. Curious and friendly, she enjoys cuddling on our laps, sitting next to us, and discovering new heights at which to perch. Sparkly puff balls are her toy of choice, proudly batting them around and carrying them as a prize to the top of the cat tree. Her voice is tiny, and the cutest squeaks are heard at mealtime.A hearty gourmet, this gal eats both wet and dry food and is always a clean plate club member. Both of these little ladies use the litter box like pros.Dolce and Meringue have typical kitten energy. During the day, they alternates between happy, active, thoughtful, quiet, and sleepy…then repeat!These two currently live with their siblings, Brûlée and Tiramisu, their mama Annie B, two resident cats, and two adult humans. They get along fine with the other cats, and while they have not yet met dogs, they are expected to adjust well to a respectful canine companion with slow, gentle introductions.Dolce and Meringue's story began when they and their mama Annie B were found living under a porch by a kind community member, who contacted Pet Haven for help. Since then, they have grown into healthy, happy kittens who are ready to find a family of their own. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
