Da til and her littermates were found living under a woodpile before making their way to the shelter. Frightened and a little spicy at first, they were fittingly named after different peppers!  While Datil thrived in her foster home, she remains the shyest of her siblings. She loves playing with toys and romping around with the other kittens, but she's still cautious when it comes to people. Datil will accept gentle pets, but she's looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time, understanding, and encouragement she needs to build confidence and trust.  Behind her timid nature is a beautiful, sweet girl who is learning that people can be kind and that she is safe and loved. With a calm home and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace, Datil has all the potential to become a wonderful companion.  Could you be the special person who helps Datil discover just how amazing life—and love—can be? Born: March 15, 2026 Adoption Donation: $300 My litter includes: Datil and Trinidad All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
