Description

Meet Chaud, the brown tabby and white kitten. This kitten arrived to the Shelter with their five siblings after their previous guardian was unable to continue caring for them. They have been being monitored by our medical team for an upper respiratory infection. After about a week, they have now been cleared for adoption and are ready to mee you! Chaud can be a little shy when first meeting but after getting to know people, enjoys playing and TLC. A cat savvy adopter that will give Chaud the time and patience to acclimate to the new environment and people is recommended. To keep Chaud (and our local wildlife) safe and sound, an indoor only home is recommended. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Chaud is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
