Cayenne was seen dragging himself out of the road in front of a bank. By the time the person who spotted him got turned around, he had disappeared. They contacted us, and we sent volunteers to search the area. Thankfully, they found him hiding in the flowerbed.He was taken straight to the vet for an X‑ray, where they discovered he had a broken pelvis. After time in foster care on strict cage rest, Cayenne has made an impressive recovery. He is now back at the rescue and getting around just fine.
