Baby Goldie

Description

Baby Goldie (11+ years old) Baby Goldie is a senior tortoiseshell who is mostly black with golden patches and stripes in her coat, hence her name. She has recently undergone quite a transformation: she used to be heavy enough that she had troubles walking, and her lovely coat was dull and dry. With a more nutritious diet she has lost weight and walks easily, and her coat is glossy and soft. Goldie is now ready for phase 2 of her transformation: finding a calm and loving home with just one or two special adults but no other cats, dogs, or kids. She is gentle and friendly, and she enjoys cuddles after she has learned to trust you. If you are patient, she'll jump up beside you and sit with her front legs and body on your lap, purring all the while (see pic of her in my lap). Loud noises and sudden movements startle her, and she needs a life without unexpected or large changes. Goldie likes to explore her surroundings, sit beside you on while you read or take it easy, and lazily enjoy the day as it goes by. She also likes to sleep contentedly under cat blankets, so be sure to have soft things for her to cozy into. Can you offer Goldie the comfortable, stress-free, and healthy life that she deserves?
