Description

ALFALFA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!     Follow our Lucky Cats on Instagram: @LuckyCatsDC   Name: Alfalfa Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 4 months as of 8/7/26    Estimated DOB: 4/7/26 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 12.3 oz as of 5/13/26 Coloring:  Grey Tabby Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Alfalfa will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period.  We’re happy to help with tips and tricks!  Currently Living at: Foster home in the DC area! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Alfalfa, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings too! Lives With: Creek, Cove, Cowboy What my Foster Says About Me: Alfalfa is a confident, playful cuddler. Her fur is super soft and fluffy. She gets along so well with the C kittens and plays gently enough even though she's bigger and 2 weeks older. She's going to be a big, gorgeous cat! Her purrs are loud and deep like a motorcycle, but her meows are so high pitched and soft! :) 8/5 (new foster): She's my little teddy bear. Adores tummy rubs and will often roll over onto her back for more belly rubs. Super soft and cuddly when she's not playing with the others. Long haired but definitely good at grooming herself and others as needed. She loves wand toys and the fuzzy, light balls that she can bat and chase. She growls at others when she's "caught" one and is carrying it around the apartment, but as far as I can tell it's 100% playful, not aggressive. She lets me take it from her easily and seems to just want the others to chase her if they approach.  Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.   Due to this kitten's young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 10/7/26. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low-cost partner vets. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
