Description

Meet Ace, the teenage boy kitty! Ace arrived to the Shelter as a stray so we don’t know much about his life before now. A good Samaritan had been feeding him but unable to care for him long term. He was described as super cuddly by that person. At the Shelter, Ace has been calm in the kennel but, when a person approaches, loves to get attention and starts purring. Ace may enjoy a home with another feline after a slow, thoughtful introduction. He does have some experience outdoors so an indoor-outdoor home may be appropriate after an acclimation period to the new environment and people (at least 30 days). Ace may be just as happy as an indoor-only kitty. We do not have any history of Ace with dogs or children. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
