A Capella came to us as a tiny, terrified kitten alongside her brother. Both of them were scared babies, unsure of everything, but her brother was cute and fluffy and got adopted quickly. A Capella stayed with us, and when she was overwhelmed or looking for comfort, she would “sing the songs of her people,” calling out in her own little way and earning her name.She’s still timid, but she wants attention so badly. She leans in, she tries, she reaches out — she just needs someone who will go slow and let her build trust at her own pace.
