Shelter Information Pasadena, TX
The City has an extensive interview process to make sure the folks involved are committed to any animal they might select. Application includes descriptions of conditions that are in the home, number and age of children, time that can be devoted to the animal, etc. Any one who specifies the pet is to be outdoor only is automatically disqualified. The City shelter charges $97 for either dogs or cats for spay/neuter services, vaccinations and ID chip implant before release.
