Description
Koby is a young adult orange tabby with a warm, easy personality and one eye that tells a bit of his story. He was found in the road at about eight weeks old and came into our care shortly after. Early on, he developed an eye infection that progressed to the point of permanent damage – the eye is blind and has shrunk slightly. He’s been evaluated by a vet, who advised leaving it alone unless it starts causing him discomfort. It doesn’t seem to slow him down or bother him at all. It’s just part of how he looks now.He also had a rough stretch where he became very lethargic and weak – wobbly enough that we weren’t sure he’d pull through. Antibiotics did the job. He rebounded, and the cat on the other side of that recovery is genuinely delightful.Koby is calm, affectionate, and very much a lap cat. He likes to be held and isn’t shy about letting you know when he wants attention. He gets along well with other cats and isn’t the kind of guy who’s going to cause drama in the house. If you’re looking for an easygoing companion who will actually sit still long enough to snuggle, Koby is worth a serious look.He is neutered and microchipped.
