Henry is a 4-month-old, 9-pound black and tan Terrier mix with a gentle little heart that is just waiting to feel safe and loved. He can be a tad shy when he first meets you, but underneath that initial hesitation is the sweetest boy who simply needs a family willing to give him a little time and encouragement to come out of his shell. Henry does great with everything he meets and would love to have a confident canine sibling by his side. Having another dog to show him the ropes and teach him that the world is a wonderful place would be especially good for this tender little guy. ❤️ He is great in his kennel and, like any young puppy, he will need some patience and guidance as he continues learning his potty manners. With consistency, encouragement, and plenty of love, Henry will be well on his way to becoming the wonderful companion we know he can be. Henry doesn’t need anything fancy—just a loving family who will give him the time, patience, and reassurance he needs to grow into his confidence. In return, he promises to fill your home with sweetness, puppy kisses, and a whole lot of love. Henry is ready to find the family he can finally call his own. Could that be you? ❤️ Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $150. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
