Other: Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip, No Cats Quinta is a sweet lady looking for her forever home take her on new adventures! Foster Home Feedback ** No Cats 8/17/26 Foster Feedback: We have had Quinta for three days now and she is truly the sweetest. We picked her up from the building and drove two hours to the lake. She did great in the car the whole way. Upon getting to the lake we wanted to see how Quinta liked the water - she unfortunately jumped into the 'mud' side of the dock and sprang out of the water like a kangaroo... So her very first experience made her hesitant but she tried again and didn't mind when it was the nice part of the water. Quinta met eight different adults and one very high energy eight-year old and she was A+ with that. The child wanted to play A LOT and she was very calm and playful with him. When he left the room she would go check on where he went because she did like him and wanted to play more. When Quinta was tired of him she would just go lay down and was very patient the whole time. She just likes to greet you with what I call a hug (paws on your shoulders and a small lick on the cheek) but after that she gets down and is calm the rest of the time. It may seem intimidating because she is bigger but she is very endearing and just wants you to know she sees you. Quinta is very good around food - no begging, When I was working from home she just got comfortable and entertained herself or slept on the couch. When we had to kennel her she would go in with just a little enthusiasm from us... No she doesn't want to be in the kennel but she doesn't complain about it. We put soft food in her Kong to entertain her while she is in there and she requires a special type of food for her skin/stomach. We play fetch (kind of) more like I throw the ball and Quinta goes to get it and then doesn't let me have it back. No accidents in the house and just a giant cuddle bug at night. Quinta truly is great! 8/2/26 Temporary Care Feedback: Quinta spent the weekend with us, and here's what we learned about her! Quinta is a playful, energetic girl who loves a good game of tug or fetch. She knows sit, down, and paw, and she's eager to interact with her people. When it's time to play, she goes all out with some impressive zoomies, but she's just as happy to curl up for snuggles on the couch afterward. She's not a big fan of the kennel at first and let us know with some initial pacing and whining, but she settled in and slept there overnight. On walks, Quinta is a strong girl who enjoys stopping to sniff and may pull at times, but she also settles into a nice walking rhythm. She would thrive with a canine companion who enjoys an active, energetic play style and can keep up with her enthusiasm. Quinta is a sweet, affectionate dog with a lot of potential. With a little structure and continued guidance, she'll make a fun and loving companion for an active family. 7/14/26 Volunteer Feedback: I had the pleasure of accompanying Quinta to her activities today and she was an absolute sweetheart during her day out! She rode beautifully in the car and was a fantastic patient at the vet—friendly, cooperative, and happy to meet everyone. She also handled her spa visit wonderfully and did well with all the new people and environments throughout her busy day. At home, she was friendly and appropriate with my dogs. She is strong on leash, but otherwise very easy to handle. She explored for a short time and then settled down and relaxed, which was impressive in a brand-new environment. She appears to be medium energy and would likely enjoy regular walks and activity but also has a nice “off switch.” Quinta's manners were excellent: no jumping, no mouthing, and she took treats very gently. She also had no accidents in the house. Quinta is affectionate, gentle, and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with.
