Description
Hi! My name is Leah and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up and no one came looking for me, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list". Luckily, a small local rescue heard about my plight and sprung me from that place and then got me into a dog prison program called "New Leash on Life" where I am excelling! A volunteer with the rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help me find a home and they said yes ... yeah!!! No one is exactly sure what I might be a mix of, maybe some shepherd and some terrier, but at just a little bit over 27lbs at around 5mos old, I am not expected to be a big girl when I'm all grown. I have been learning some really neat stuff like sit, stay, down, and potty training and would love to show off for you. I am also learning to be better on leash but I just get so excited sometimes I do pull some, especially when I first get to go out. I will be available to meet on June 27th so if you're available and interested in meeting me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
