Meet Dolce: The divine feline devoted to making friends!This gorgeous 3-year-old calico girl lives up to her name in every way, bringing joy, laughter and sweetness to every room she enters.A true social butterfly, Dolce's favorite thing in the world is making friends. She tries to play with every cat she meets, gets along wonderfully with dogs, and even extends her goodwill to the resident grumps and "snotty" animals who aren't always eager to reciprocate. Her foster says Dolce genuinely wants everyone to feel part of the fun.And fun is serious business for Dolce! This girl is happiest when she's chasing wand toys, batting at window teasers, pouncing on catnip toys or being mesmerized by "Fish TV" (twatching fish in her foster's tank and tapping on the glass when they swim by). She also loves a good romp with her kitty companions. Because she thrives on feline friendship, Dolce must be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat. When she's not busy organizing playtime, Dolce adores being petted and spending time with her people and showing off her adorably silly quirks. She purrs while she eats, falls asleep in ridiculous positions and has a charming way of gently "helping" at mealtime. If dinner isn't arriving quickly enough, Dolce will softly pat your hand as if to say, "Excuse me, I believe you've forgotten the guest of honor." No claws, no "cattitude" — just gentle determination.Speaking of food, that's another one of Dolce's passions. She absolutely loves wet food, considers Churu the pinnacle of culinary perfection and only agrees to eat dry kibble when absolutely necessary.Like many calicos, Dolce has a tiny bit of sass—but only in the most endearing way. The closest she comes to being "spicy" is offering a playful little love-bite if you tickle her belly too much. Dolce has successfully lived with multiple cats and three dogs in foster care and has done wonderfully with all of them. She would also be comfortable in a home with gentle, respectful children.Dolce does have a mild skin allergy on her neck, which is well-controlled with an oral medication that she easily takes with her coveted Churu! Equal parts sweetheart, entertainer and loyal friend, Dolce is a purr-fect kitty girl. All she needs is a family to call her own.
