Jake was owner surrendered after the wife died. husband is legally blind... He is six years old and is housebroken and loves to play ball.. He can have resource guarding over food and toys.. He would love to be an only child... He does tolerate other dogs but can be grumbly.. he has been around feral cats and will tolerate them in his yard but wouldnt trust him in a home with a cat.  He likes to ride in the car and would love a fenced back yard.. plenty of life left but would do great for an older couple too.. no kids as he does not like to be rough housed with.. adoption fee is waived to the right home application floridapointerrescue.com/adopt
