Description

Leonie  is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with a foster or adopter. Meet Leonie, a tiny white bundle of sweetness with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This Border Terrier mix puppy may be deaf, but don’t tell her that—she’s smart, curious, and fully engaged with the world around her. At about 10 pounds now and growing into a perfect medium-sized companion, Leony is affectionate, playful, and loves her toys. She’s learning how to be the best girl she can be and is already showing how adaptable and eager she is to connect with her people. Leonie came from the same overcrowded situation as her brother but hasn’t let that dim her spirit one bit. She’s looking for a patient, loving home that will continue to guide her, communicate with her in creative ways, and celebrate just how special she is.   If you believe the best things in life don’t always need words, Leonie might just be your perfect match. Leonie is up to date on vaccines and has been treated for puppy parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange for her to be altered and microchipped at 5-6 months of age at The Spay and Neuter Center of New Jersey in Holmdel. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. Her adoption fee is $600.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
