Adoption Listing: Skye & Blizzard Overview It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for loving homes for Skye and Blizzard. My greatest wish would be for them to stay together, as they have been lifelong companions and best friends. However, my primary goal is finding them safe, loving homes where they will receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. ⸻ Skye Basic Information * Female Siberian Husky * Date of Birth: 09/22/2016 * AKC Registered Medical Information * Rabies Current * Not Spayed * Never Bred / No Litters * Bordetella and DA2PP were due 04/07/2026 * 50 lbs Personality & Temperament Skye is a beautiful, intelligent, and entertaining Husky with a big personality. She has plenty of energy and loves being active. She is loyal, affectionate, and genuinely wants to please her people. Skye gets along well with other dogs and is especially bonded to Blizzard. She can sometimes sound intimidating because she likes other canines to know she’s in charge, but underneath that confident Husky attitude is a kind, loving girl who enjoys companionship and attention. She loves humans big and small. ⸻ Blizzard Basic Information * Male Siberian Husky * Date of Birth: 01/01/2019 * UKC Registered Medical Information * Rabies Current * Not Neutered * Never Used for Breeding * Bordetella and DA2PP were due 04/07/2026 * 56 lbs Personality & Temperament Blizzard is best described as a giant teddy bear. He is sweet, funny, and endlessly lovable. While he may look like a strong Husky, he’s actually a bit of a softie and can be timid in unfamiliar situations. When he’s unsure or frightened, he’ll come running to his people for reassurance. Blizzard loves affection, companionship, and being part of the family. Blizzard loves to be vocal and tell you everything he’s thinking. ⸻ About Them Together Bonded Companions * Lifelong companions and best friends * Have lived together for years * Enjoy playing, exploring, and spending time with their people Ideal Home * Preferably adopted together * Family familiar with Huskies is a plus * Active household able to provide: * Regular exercise * Mental enrichment * Plenty of love and attention ⸻ Why They Need a New Home This decision has been incredibly difficult and comes after a long effort to make things work. Reason for Rehoming * Loss of a fenced yard * Significant changes to my housing situation that started with extreme damage from Hurricane Helene * Severe allergies that make it difficult for me to keep them indoors What They Need Skye and Blizzard deserve room to run, play, and simply enjoy being dogs. My priority is finding a home—or homes—where they will be loved, exercised, and treated as valued family members. ⸻ Interested in Adopting?
