Meet Selene! Selene is a beautiful 3-year-old black cat with a quiet, gentle spirit. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, beneath her reserved nature is a sweet soul just waiting for the right person to give her a chance. Selene prefers to take things at her own pace and would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can feel safe and secure. Once she learns to trust, she enjoys the comfort of a cozy bed, peaceful surroundings, and the company of those she knows best. Her calm presence and soft personality make her a wonderful companion for someone who understands that the best relationships are built with time and trust. With her sleek black coat and soulful eyes, Selene is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She dreams of finding a forever family that will appreciate her gentle heart and help her blossom into the confident, loving cat she's meant to be.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
