Description
Meet Banjo – Your Adorable Little Shadow! This adorable 1-year-old, 15 lb. Maltipoo has a heart full of love and is happiest when snuggled up with his people. Banjo is sweet, loving, and eager to be part of all your daily activities. Like many young dogs, Banjo is still learning and will thrive with a family committed to helping him build confidence and skills. Banjo loves everyone that pets him - men, women, and children alike! He is a champion cuddler who enjoys lap time, couch time, and being physically close to his family. Banjo is crate trained and comfortably sleeps there at night. He is mostly potty trained with no indoor accidents; he benefits from regular potty breaks. He can be a little nervous around unfamiliar dogs and does best with slow, respectful introductions. While he may bark when feeling unsure, with patience and positive experiences, he's making progress. Because he forms strong bonds with his people, Banjo experiences separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is around much of the time, works from home, or can provide support through doggy daycare or a similar arrangement. He is also still working on his manners. He doesn't yet know basic commands and will benefit from positive reinforcement training. Leash walking is a skill he's just beginning to learn, making this a wonderful opportunity for an adopter who enjoys helping a young dog grow and succeed. The ideal home for Banjo is one that can offer plenty of companionship, patience, and love. In return, you'll get a loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to cuddle, adore you, and be part of your everyday life. Banjo is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.
